1. General Information
The protection of your personal data matters to me. This privacy policy tells you which personal data is collected on this website, for what purpose and on what legal basis this happens, and what rights you have.
Personal data is all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (for example a name, an email address or an IP address). Personal data is always processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
2. Controller
The controller for the data processing on this website is:

3. Hosting & Server Log Files
This website runs on its own server in Germany. No external hosting provider is used.
When the website is accessed, the web server automatically records what are known as server log files. These include:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of access
- URL accessed
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system
- Volume of data transferred
This data is used solely to ensure the stable and secure operation of the website (for example to detect attacks). It is not evaluated for marketing purposes. The log files are deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website).
4. SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that your browser’s address bar begins with “https://” and a padlock symbol is displayed. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
5. Contact Form
There is a contact form on this website. If you use it, the following data is collected:
- Name
- Email address
- Subject (selected from predefined categories)
- Message text
The data transmitted is used solely to handle your inquiry. It is not passed on to third parties.
Email delivery via Proton Mail: Messages sent through the contact form are transmitted by SMTP to the email account info@postpartum-performance.de. This account is operated by Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland. Switzerland has a level of data protection recognized as adequate by the EU Commission. Proton Mail stores emails with zero-access encryption. You can find further information in Proton’s privacy policy.
Retention period: The data is deleted as soon as your inquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no retention obligation applies.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, where your inquiry is aimed at concluding a contract (for example a class registration), otherwise Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in handling contact inquiries).
6. Google Maps
In the class schedule section, Google Maps is used as an embedded map to show event locations. When the map is loaded, your browser establishes a connection to Google’s servers. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to Google.
The provider is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so an adequate level of data protection is ensured. You can find further information in Google’s privacy policy.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in presenting class locations clearly).

8. Cookies
This website uses a single strictly necessary cookie:
- Name:
lang - Purpose: Stores the language you chose (German or English) so that you do not have to switch again on your next visit.

This cookie is set only when you click the language switcher yourself — simply opening a page does not set it. It holds nothing but the language code (de or en): no personal data and no identifier that makes you recognizable.
